Wellcome Project
Object in Focus is a new series of exhibitions being put on at the Wellcome Collection Museum. These shows will focus on telling many stories through a single object, in contrast to the traditional museum format of telling one story through multiple objects. Wellcome Collection hopes to highlight some of the objects in its amazing collections that the public may not otherwise see. A group from MA Narrative Environments were asked to propose an exhibition for “Lady Ayscough’s Medicine Book” (1692), which contains handwritten remedies for the most common ailments of the period.
